They married and suddenly, she convinces him to tup her (and has a VERY FINE TIME despite being a virgin and despite him being BIG and used her rough. I think it would have been more effective written in other ways, maybe peppered throughout the first 50% or so. I didn't need 25% of this book to go on about it. Now, I knew he was tortured in prison from book 1.
So for 25% of the book, the h didn't even meet the H. It's just that 25% of the book was the hero's tortured time in prison. But maybe it's bc I've been reading a REALLY BEST OF THE BEST book and therefore expectations are too high, but I mostly skipped this book. I was REALLY looking forward to this story.
